Community Guidelines
Effective and last updated: September 30, 2026
Treat every member as a person with boundaries, privacy, and the right to say no. These Guidelines apply to profiles, photos, messages, and behavior connected to GlitterDates.
Be authentic
- Use your own account and current photos that you have permission to share.
- Represent your identity, age, intentions, and relationship situation honestly.
- Do not impersonate another person, organization, or member, or mislead people for financial or personal gain.
- Do not create duplicate accounts to evade a block, suspension, or another member’s boundaries.
Respect consent and boundaries
- Accept rejection, a lack of response, an unmatched conversation, or a request to stop contacting someone.
- Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame, coerce, blackmail, or pressure anyone for dates, money, sex, photos, or personal information.
- Never share another person’s messages, images, identity, location, or contact details without permission.
- Sexual content must never involve minors, coercion, exploitation, or non-consensual material.
Keep harmful and illegal activity away
GlitterDates does not allow fraud, scams, phishing, malware, trafficking, exploitation, hate or dehumanizing attacks, credible violence, illegal goods or services, or instructions intended to cause harm. Do not solicit money, financial credentials, passwords, verification codes, or investments. Commercial spam, mass promotion, and recruitment schemes are also prohibited.
Use appropriate profile content
Profile photos and text must be suitable for a dating profile and comply with law. Do not upload graphic violence, explicit sexual acts, intimate images shared without consent, contact details intended to bypass safety controls, copyrighted material you cannot use, or content designed to deceive or disrupt the service. Photo approval only means a photo passed the available review; it does not verify identity.
Protect the service and its members
Do not scrape profiles, collect member data, probe security, bypass rate limits, automate interactions, reverse engineer private systems, or use GlitterDates information to profile, discriminate against, track, or harm people. Report security concerns privately to [email protected].
Reporting and enforcement
Use the Report action on a profile for behavior that may violate these rules, and Block when you want to prevent further access or interaction. Reports are private to authorized administrators and do not automatically notify the reported member. Do not submit knowingly false, retaliatory, or repetitive reports.
Administrators may dismiss a report, record a warning or note, reject content, suspend an account, or restore it after review. Decisions may consider context, severity, repeated behavior, safety risk, and available evidence. Historical reports and actions may be retained for audit and safety.
When there is immediate danger
GlitterDates is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate local support organization if you or someone else may be in immediate danger. Review the Safety Tips before meeting someone.
